Blacks tire in Surfside, SC did an awesome job on my truck. We were traveling to stay at Lakewood camping resort when I noticed a metal scrubbing noise coming from my front passenger tire. We were about few miles away from the campground so I proceeded to unload the RV at our site. I called blacks tire and they worked me in within 30 minutes. They were only 1.5 miles away from the campground. I waited in the lobby and they came back to tell me I needed new brakes and a caliber. This was at 3pm the same day. They called me at 5:30pm the same day and told me my truck would be ready in the morning. I am very pleased with their service considering I only had a few days of staying at Lakewood camping resort. Very fast, fair priced and friendly service.

I had a screw in my RV travel trailer. I called Good Sam Club and within 45 minutes Black Tire was there to put on my spare. They took damaged tire to repair and had ready for pick up that day.

I came to the business to get my tire changed out. I was traveling in the area for work and took a nail to my tire. I called into the business to get information about mobile and in store cost. I decided to go for the business to get my repairs. The repairs were completed just fine. However when I was in the waiting room waiting for my vehicle to be fixed. I over heard the staff complaining and talking poorly to each other about my phone call with whoever I spoke with. Loudly and in ear shot of other staff members and customers. This turned me off to the business and there complete lack of professionalism and regard to potential and current customers is unacceptable.

I took my 2010 Chevy Camaro in for an engine overheating problem. They diagnosed that I needed a new water pump so I agreed to have the work done ($800.00). Two days after I get the car back the engine overheats again so I take it back to have it looked at, again. They supposedly took another look at it and test drove it and said that they couldn’t find anything wrong with it and that it wasn’t overheating. No charge this time so I get my keys back and drive off. Not ten minutes after I start driving, the car overheats again. Lucky I was close to home and coasted into my driveway before needing to be towed. So the way I see it, Blacks Tire $800.00, me nothing. No, I don’t recommend them. And no, after corporate reading this, no one from Blacks Tire has reached out to me about making this right.

I had a screw in my left front tire. I got there about 8:00 AM. The checked no leak filled with and tested, good to go. Very nice folks. Great Service. Plus I told them that I was a retired Tool & Equipment salesman for NAPA AUTO PARTS and called on there with sales folks from the Myrtle Beach NAPA years ago. They will treat you Greatly. Thanks for y'alls help.
